Hey guys- I’m home for summer where internet is inconsistent! I’ll post when I can!
Enjoy the sunshine!
My inspiration blog is up and running, queued for the summer! Check it out!
Here’s two of my best drawings that I did this semester in my Figure Drawing class!
The best advice in the world.

So I have a ton of image files saved on my computer of art that inspire me. I’ve collected all of it in the past year and have wanted to do something with it. I thought of printing it all out and keeping it in a binder, but that would be a larger undertaking than I’d like to tackle at the moment. So I figured, why not keep a blog of it all? Saves paper AND let’s me access the images anywhere I have a computer. Multi-win situation.

Hey all. There’s a monster themed art show at Pinecone + Chickadee opening this First Friday Art Walk, May 4!
I dropped off my Highland Unicorn mixed media drawing this morning. It’s the original, and it’ll be for sale!!!
Anyone can contribute to the show, so if you have something you want to enter, you have until Wednesday May 2 to do it! Pinecone + Chickadee is located at: 6 Free St. Portland, ME. Click the first link above to read the rules on their Facebook page.
Unfortunately, I’ll be on my way back to CT for the summer at that point, so I won’t be able to see my own piece at the show! Such a bummer. You’ll all just have to check out the show for me, right?
Everyone enjoy the day. It’s beautiful outside!!!
Here’s progress on a painting I’m working on. I started it around Christmas, but I haven’t touched it since until a few days ago. Acrylic on canvas.
One of my very best friends, Rhiannon Elliott, from CT played a gig on Saturday. She’s wonderful! Check out this video she uploaded.
i had a gig on saturday! here is one of the songs i played!
Uploaded to Flickr. Check it out!
So with the exception of today (poor, gloomy, Earth Day!) , the past week has been beautiful weather here in Portland. I took advantage of it, of course, and got outside a few times to draw.

^ This here is from last weekend. I walked the bike bath down to the East End beach, stopping occasionally to sit on the rocks and draw the water. I got a sunburn!

^ I drew this on Wednesday at Tommy’s Park. My figure drawing class was held outside (I love it when that happens!) so here’s one of the pages I finished. A few people stopped to talk to me while I was drawing, so I met some interesting characters.
I hope to have more pages like this of my hometown in CT to share with you guys this summer. Hooray sketchbooking!
